I have to vent. There are things I don't understand that people do. This can range from a family members to customers to every day news. It's all the same. Someone wants change, whether it's weight loss, changing something personal about themselves, or improving your skills. It cannot happen without total commitment. You cannot be half way about anything you want to be better in. That's not how it works, so why would you want to commit more to doing harm to your body than good?
In this life I've learned that if there's something worth getting or achieving it doesn't come easily. Not even the very things that are good for you. With that said, could you very well go to the doctor and receive a prescription for high blood pressure medication, except you only take it once a week and expect get better?
It's the same way with health. If you want to get healthy, then you have to commit to getting healthy. You cannot start to see results then decide that you are where you want to be weight wise and stop your exercise routine. You might look good for awhile after you've put in that work, but what about a couple of weeks after not exercising. A personal trainer would not allow for that. Your trainer cannot be there every step of your day either. Your trainer is looking for communication. If you're not telling your trainer the truth, he or she cannot help you, but if you are not saying much at all, you won't get any help and you get no results. The trainer knows you have not been listening to them.
The same is true for success in anything! We cannot expect to get better without dedication and commitment.
